The dressmaker’s shop Fragola with Helianna and Bluebelle are Twizt. Fragola makes clothes for women according to customer’s measurements and hopes. Fragola is specialized in festive clothing. Tailor’s shop Komea makes clothes for men and outdoor clothing for women. Helianna makes restorations and different kinds of project works. Reparations can be brought at opening times and their time of delivery varies from a few days to a few weeks depending on the job and season. We take on the clothes washed. All services are available when you step into the shop, but if you want to book an appointment for a model and measuring, it is best to call or email the maker.
Making clothes begins from planning and measuring. You don’t need to have a plan ready, sketches can be drawn on the basis of photos or description. Customer’s figure, material, hopes and purpose of use are taken to consideration when planning the dress. Most often the best help in planning the dress is to know at least what you don’t want. We also make own collection, from where you can choose colour and size to each design.
Patterns are made for each customer separately. When a pattern is once drawn, we can use it for different kinds of models. Depending on garment customer comes to a fitting from one to five times. One fitting is included in the collection’s prices. When you come to the fitting, bring the bra you plan to wear under the dress. Also shoes are needed for measuring the right lenghts. Times of delivery depend on the job and the season.
In the shop we have a changing selection of fashion textiles, silks, taffetas and woollen cloths. Of textiles on order we take an advance payment, which is from 50 to 100 euros depending on the textile. The payment will be taken at the moment of the order.
We also have Passigatti scarfs, dyeable Rainbow satin shoes and handbags and a changing selection of jewellery that complete the perfect outfit. You can also rent a tulle-skirt or a hoop-skirt from us.

Question: Where is your shop situated?
You can find us from the address Hämeenpuisto 39, Tampere.
Our opening times are: mon, wed, thu closed, tue and fri 12-18, sat 12-15
Question: Do I have to make an appointment?
If you are bringing in a preparation job, you can just walk in to the shop. If you are coming to have a dress made, it is best to call or email the maker in advance. Measuring and planning takes about an hour. If you have pictures of the garment you want, you can email them in advance to marika@ompelimofragola.com.
Question: How much does it cost to have a jacket-suit made?
Come and see the price list in the shop. At the same you can see the models and textiles. It is impossible to say the price without knowing the model and fabric. Starting price for sewing a trouser suit is 300 euros. Textiles and supplies are charged separately.
Question: Do I have to choose the model from a certain model book?
No, you can choose any model, if it suits the fabric. Patterns are made for each garment separately. If you don’t have ideas of your own, we have ready-made models in our collection with set prices and fabric options.
Question: How much does it cost to have a wedding dress made?
Pricespread is as wide as the selection of dresses. Easiest way to have estimation of the price of the dress you desire is to send a picture by email or coming into the shop. Material, planning, and the amount of sewing by hand affect the price most.
Question: Can I bring my own pictures or my own planning?
Of course! It doesn’t have to be a fashion photo and it doesn’t have to be exactly the thing you want. Small details can be a big help.
Question: How long does it take to have a dress made?
Models from the collection can be done in a few weeks, if we have the fabric in stock, as we usually do. For own models you should make time from a month to three, depening on the season and is the fabric ordered or do we have it in stock. Spring and summer are the busiest seasons and you should make an appointment quite early on for having a wedding dress made.
Delivery times in reparations are faster, from a few days to some weeks.
Question: How do I wash the garment?
You always receive dress-specific directions verbally and in writing. The cleaner’s at Tampere usually call us, if they have any questions.
Question: Why don’t you have a price list on the internet site?
Our price list is a starting from -list and not all the works are the easiest. You can have a price estimation done in the shop or you cand send a photo of the dress you want by email.
